Fascinating Zombies, the Photophobes. The only psychopaths in the universe to kill you nicely. No mess, no fuss, they just zap you into the past and let you live as death. The rest of your life used up and blown away in the blink of an eye. You die in the past, and in the present they consume the energy of all the days you might have had, all your stolen moments. They’re creatures of the abstract. They live off potential energy.
Don’t forget a flashlight. Forget a flashlight and you’re dead. They are fast. Faster than you can believe. Don’t turn your back. Don’t look away. And don’t forget a flashlight. Good Luck.
Above are the special zombies in the Purdue HvZ game called “Photophobes.” If you haven’t guessed already, they are based off the Weeping Angels from Dr. Who (with a bit of a Silence call out if you see).
Since none of our Photophobes can run in the blink of an eye (and we’ve tried, trust me), the way it works is that they are only stunned by light. No nerf bullet or sock can stop them. And as soon as the light goes off them, they can move again.
Our older players remember the time that there were three Photophobes hunting on campus. They are still afraid.
